James Kendall, Founder
James has spent his entire career helping others who could not help themselves. James received his Master’s Degree in Social Work from California State University Fresno and has never stopped serving others. Over the years, James has worked in clinical settings, community settings and in administrative and management capacities. He has continually worked to improve the lives of those he encountered personally and professionally.
When his mother-in-law began to show signs of Alzheimer’s, James experienced the challenges families face when dealing with such a situation. He had many questions without many answers. After this experience, James knew he wanted to help others in the same situation and provide care to those in need. He wanted to provide the best service, using the best care givers, to ensure a worry free, quality, caring experience. James founded Everlight Care to inform and educate the community while providing quality in home care.

Gina Kendall, Owner/Operator
Gina has over 25 years of work experience serving the aging and the disabled. Her extensive experience in care and management began as a Social Services Coordinator in skilled nursing facilities. While working in this capacity, she became aware of the need for, and the importance of, good, quality, home care. Gina worked with families to keep their loved ones home and avoid a return visit to the hospital. As she continued her career of service, she began working with the disabled population helping to expand and improve their independence throughout all aspects of life.
This combination of experiences has afforded Gina a unique view of the needs of the aging and the disabled and how to best serve those needs in a home setting.
Gina’s Central Valley roots run deep. She earned her BA degree from Fresno State in 1993 and has lived and worked in Fresno for the past 20 years. In addition to raising her family in Fresno, she is actively involved in her local church and is a volunteer for various local community organizations.

Shireen Azamian, Branch Director
As Administrator, Shireen will be responsible for all operational activities, company growth, and performance while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and care Everlight is known to uphold.
“I was attracted by the company’s philosophy to provide the best quality of service for our clients while walking them through the journey of aging. I am continually amazed at how involved Gina is with our clients and caregivers, and I want to continue to emphasize on our family connection here,” Shireen stated. “Everlight Care goes above and beyond for everyone we meet, because we believe in providing the best quality and most trusted in-home care in the Central Valley.”
Shireen Azamian comes to Everlight Care with over 6 years of healthcare experience and client care satisfaction. Most recently, Shireen worked as an Intake Coordinator for Healthy Living at Home. There, she conducted patient admissions, communicated with families and physician offices, and played an integral part within the referral/client relationship. This background has assisted Shireen with transitioning to her current position with Everlight Care.
“My goal as an Administrator is to better the community and make lasting relationships wherever I go. I look forward to expanding the agency over the next several months and I am passionate about advocating for the senior community.”

Amar Singh, Administrator
Amar Singh’s professional journey in senior care started as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Selma Convalescent Hospital. Being a CNA, Amar’s work ethics allowed him to show his passion toward the elder population. Amar grew up with his grandparents, who experienced hardships as a result of language barriers. He assisted them with activities of daily living and translation. This sparked his passion for helping the senior community. Amar was motivated to pursue a career in the healthcare field, because he wanted to build a stronger support system for our aging population.
Amar graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration. He then moved on to the position of administrator at American Compassionate Hospice Care.
“I am really motivated and passionate towards helping our elder population. My experience working in skilled nursing facilities motivated me to pursue a career that would make positive changes in the senior community. As an administrator at American Compassionate Hospice Care, I had the opportunity to make a huge impact on hospice patients. I was recently given an opportunity to positively influence the senior community here at Everlight Care.”
Amar’s job duties in hospice were to lead and motivate the team and to meet the diverse needs of those needing care. He directed recruiting and training new employees, case management, marketing, and medical records, among other day to day duties of running a hospice agency. He was also responsible for pioneering a successful volunteer program, which added an additional support to his patients.
“My goal at Everlight Care is to build positive community relations and serve our clients with compassion. My desire is to help our team continue to practice company family values, carry out our mission of providing the highest quality care, and to help our senior community age in place with dignity.”

Jennifer Correa, Office Manager
Jennifer Correa came to Everlight Care as an office manager and staff developer in 2019, with over 6 years of public relations experience. Jennifer comes from a family who upholds traditional values and strong moral ethics. She graduated with Associate Degrees in Social and Behavioral Science, as well as Administration from Merced College in
2016. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice at California State University, Fresno.
She began her career as a case manager at Access Adult Day Program. providing mentorship for adults with developmental disabilities. At Everlight Care, Jennifer is likely the first person people speak to when they call or stop in. She is responsible for day to day operations, implementing staff training platforms, recruiting support, scheduling of all appointments and client visits, and handling case management issues as they arise. She has also created and manages a business development platform at Everlight Care, which keeps all agency policies, procedures, and systems current, consistent, and in compliance.
“Working for an agency who shares the same beliefs as I do, providing in-home care with integrity and morality, is truly a privilege. Working with the aging community takes compassion and dedication. At Everlight Care, I have found my place in an environment where like-minded individuals work as a team to fulfill our duty to provide the best in-home care.
